Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

ASHOT is an application that provides short-drama video streaming content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in some jurisdictions) to register an account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account, including safeguarding your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Registering fake accounts or selling/transferring accounts is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
• Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, or automate access to the service
• Record, download, redistribute, or publicly perform the service’s video content
• Circumvent paywalls, unlock mechanisms, or other technical protection measures
• Use cheats or modify local data to obtain coins or unlock content

4. Intellectual Property

The service and all its content (including but not limited to videos, text, images, trademarks, logos, and software code) are owned by ASHOT or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Without written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the service.

5. Creator Content & Redistribution Consent

If you publish content as a creator on ASHOT (works, episodes, trailers, posters, synopses, story chapters, campaign descriptions, etc.):

• You retain ownership of your content. You must own (or have rights to license) everything you upload.
• You grant ASHOT a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, transcode, distribute, and display your content within the ASHOT service so we can deliver it to your audience.
• You grant ASHOT a worldwide, royalty-free license to promote your published works on ASHOT’s own official social media accounts (Facebook, Threads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X / Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Kwai). Promotion may include the work’s title, synopsis, cover image, and short trailer excerpts, always linking back to the canonical work page on ashot.live. ASHOT will never sell or sublicense your content for use outside this promotional purpose without your separate written consent.
• You can request that a specific work be excluded from social-media promotion by contacting [email protected]; we will honor the request for future posts.
• If your account is terminated or you remove a work, ASHOT will remove the corresponding social-media posts from its own accounts where technically possible, but cached or screenshot copies that third parties have already taken may persist.

6. Copyright & DMCA Takedown

ASHOT respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected]containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• The URL or location on ASHOT where the allegedly infringing material is located.
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will respond promptly and may remove the content pending investigation. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. False or bad-faith takedown notices may incur liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.

7. Payments, Coins & Purchases

• Coins are obtained through in-app purchases (IAP) and may only be used to unlock content within this app.
• All transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
• Refund policy: Coins are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law. To request a refund, follow the Apple or Google refund policy directly with the store.
• Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, inherited, or returned.
• Upon account deletion or termination, unused coins are permanently forfeited without compensation.
• We reserve the right to adjust product prices and coin exchange rates.

8. Third-Party Services

The service integrates third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign In, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

You may terminate this Agreement at any time via “Settings → Delete Account”. We may also suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you breach this Agreement. After termination, provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive (including but not limited to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific needs. You use the service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASHOT and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASHOT and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your breach of this Agreement, violation of law, or infringement of the rights of others.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore (excluding its conflict-of-law rules). Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for arbitration in Singapore in the English language.

14. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
